Okay, we're having fun now.

We continue to celebrate our 40th anniversary with our longest-running client. Ralph's Records has been a part of the FMX family since day one.  Doug and the crew are always there for us, even when we need to borrow a c.d. (sometimes our get scratched, or we take them home and forget to bring them back).

Ralph's is always there for me personally too, when I need some special vinyl or a hard-to-find piece of music (I prefer a hard copy that I download to digital). I have also hooked up with them a number of times for gaming needs.

Anywhoo, let's get to business. The FMX Purple Spot is so iconic that every once in a while we drop the purple out of it or even change the shape. Ralph's is also iconic for having the big pink building and new pink sign over at 82nd and Quaker. Somewhere along the line, we decided to team up and put together a collector's item tee. I imagine the conversation went like this:

"Dude, we should totally do a Ralph's Pink Spot Tee"

"Whoa dude, that's an awesome idea"

That's exactly the amount of thought we put into things. From there is one quick message to our friends at Advanced Graphix who, no matter what we ask for, just make things happen. So there you have it, "Ralph's" logo in pink on the front and the spot transferred to a pink color on the back.

The combination of colors works better than you might think it would too. There's something about it that just gives me that rockabilly vibe. It's manly, but hip. Womanly but cool.

So here's how it works, spend $10 or more at Ralph's and get one of these shirts (I'd say they're worth about $20) for free. That is a SAAAAAWWWEEEEEET deal!  It's our way of saying "thank you" for making us #1 again and to celebrate our partners and pals over at Ralph's.  This deal begins Saturday at 1 p.m. with Renee Raven at Ralph's 82nd 7 Indianna.
