If you like Ghost even a teensy bit, you have to see this film.

I enjoyed the Red Hot Chili Peppers’ I’m With You concert broadcast so much that I figured I would also enjoy Ghost’s Rite Here Rite Now.

“Enjoy,” however, falls well below what I actually experienced.

The Perfect Way To Experience Ghost

Being completely transparent, I’m a little too old to fight my way to the front of a concert or stand for three hours just to maintain a decent view. I don’t want the stress of trying to grab a beer, fighting through the crowd to use the bathroom or staring at somebody’s phone while they record the entire show.

There’s also the fact that you don’t take pictures while watching a movie—or at least you shouldn’t.

All of that meant I could concentrate 100% on the film. When “Kaisarion” started, I nearly jumped out of my chair. The entire movie kept me completely transfixed and gave me a much deeper appreciation for what Ghost does onstage.

It wasn’t merely a movie about a concert. It felt like having the best seat in the building without dealing with any of the things that can make attending a huge concert exhausting.

Ghost Is Going Even Bigger

Now Ghost is releasing a new concert film called 2 Big To Rig. The movie was captured during two sold-out, phone-free shows at the Palacio de los Deportes in Mexico City and includes professional concert footage, backstage material and behind-the-scenes access.

I’m assuming the title is a play on the phrase “too big to rig.” In concert production, “rigging” generally refers to the equipment and structures used to suspend and support the lights, speakers, video screens and other massive pieces needed to build a modern arena show.

As of right here, right now, 2 Big To Rig appears to be showing locally only at Cinemark Tinseltown Lubbock and XD. The worldwide limited theatrical release begins August 26, 2026.

We’ll keep you up to speed if it receives a wider Lubbock release.

We’re also going to give you a chance to see whether you’ll love this experience as much as I did. Ten people will receive a Fandango hookup to see Ghost’s 2 Big To Rig with a guest.

No crowded floor. No obstructed view. No phones in your face.

Just Ghost—really, really big.
