We have a bunch of plates spinning in the air right now, so I thought I'd give you an overview of what's going on.

*The *BIG* concert announcement scheduled for today was bumped until next Monday. They needed a little more time to get their ducks in a row.

*Tickets go on sale this week for A Day To Remember. Remember that code word: Purple. You can purchase tickets here beginning Wednesday at 10 a.m.

*I talked with the Amphitheater and they have some VERY exciting updates planned. Look for some cool new seating very soon.

*As of right now, Select-A-Seat is mostly online. Some of the city locations may be working, but Ralph's, for instance, is not. It will all be updated in July. This is going to be a factor with the big show we're announcing.

*We are excited to relaunch "FMX Stagez" soon to help you keep up with everything.

*We are still waiting on updates for the In This Moment Show. We were giving the name of one of the opening bands and the "hold" date, but haven't heard anything else. Checking ITM's website/tour dates, lines up pretty well with what we're told (they're open when we were told the reschedule is). Note: The promoter is touching base with the band every other day to make this happen.

*Also for clarity, the event that we're now calling the 41st FMX Birthday Bash is not the event we thought was going to be the 'Bash. That smaller event is supposedly still a thing, but we were asked by a really huge promoter with some really huge bands to make that show a "station event".

*We also want to say that we sympathize with those of you frustrated over the ITM reschedule. In short, a pandemic happened. I'm not sure what we as a radio station could do to change that. The promoter rescheduled and they were bit by the pandemic a second time (and more costs). They are now in the process of rescheduling a third time. If you purchased tickets, hold onto them, until the show reschedules. then, presumably, you could return them if you no longer want to go. You can trust, that if we thought anyone was running off with your money, we'd join you in taking them down.

FMX only publicizes shows, we do not promote them, just as Ralph's only sells tickets, they don't act as a banker for the promoter. Our only option to make sure this doesn't happen again is to never talk about concerts or for Ralph's to not sell tickets. Lastly on this topic, the *big* show we're about to announce is different bands and a different promoter, they have *ZERO* to do with any of this. Deciding not to attend their show does not hurt or prove a point to any of the parties involved, it only makes for a big missed opportunity for you.

Just keep your fingers crossed until Monday morning. If everything goes according to plan, there's going to be a LOT of happy people.
