Here’s The Proper Way To Celebrate National Ice Cream Month In Texas
In a bowl or on a cone, there's nothing like a big scoop of ice cream!
Celebrate
Not only is it National Ice Cream Month, the 21st of July is National Ice Cream Day .In Texas there are two types of ice cream, Blue Bell, and the other stuff that you grumble about buying when they're out of Blue Bell. Blue Bell is as Texas as Cowboy hats. They are an institution and they're always on the hunt for new ice cream flavors.
Do One Thing
There's a lot to be said for "Doing one thing, and doing it well". That type of formula has worked extremely well for my favorite chicken place, Raising Cane's. Then again, if you take a broad view, "making ice cream" is kind of "one thing". I suppose it's all the same machines and you're just mixing in a flavors and a few ingredients here and there.
Fun Flavors
I could write a couple pages on Blue Bell's regular, year-round flavors (In fact, they just added A&W Rootbeer Float to that lineup). What I thought would be more fun, and more timely, is to show you is Blue Bell's "Rotational" flavors. These are flavors that are only here for a limited time, and even then some may be a little hard to find. As of the middle of July, here's the flavors who aren't here for a long time, but here for a good time! Get yourself to a store and celebrate National Ice Cream Month with one of these now:
