Here's Where To Find The Best Donuts In Lubbock And Beyond

It's hard to find someone who doesn't like some kind of breakfast pastry.

Oh, did I offend you by calling a "donut" a "breakfast pastry"? Well, they may not be the same but it's kind of hard to talk about donuts without bringing in things like fritters and cinnamon rolls.

I guess I was craving my favorite morning treat when I modified a little rhyme and threw this out.

I then challenged my friends to tell me about their favorite donut shop, and what item is their favorite. I'm not really going to rank these answers, but I will let you know the most popular answers.

Rita's Donuts

Rita's on 50th has an assortment you wouldn't think of...cereal toppings and such! (Also, there are usually multiple LPD cruisers parked there soooo)-Tabitha

Nessmania-My personal favorite. My one true love.

As you can tell, Rise N' Shine pulled away with the most mentions. I must confess their apple fritter is my absolute go-to item. However, I am a huge fan of Spudnuts (they have just a tiny crunch to them) when I can get them. City Donuts are pretty awesome too. Okay, at this point you and I have a ***MISSION CRITICAL***. We now must try every donut shop on the list.
