Capital Mortgage Services is collecting donations to help Woman's Protective Services of Lubbock after a recent story made local headlines about a one-month old who suffered severe injuries at the hands of his father. Local music artist, Lindsay Boreing is coordinating the effort for donations of new and/or gently used baby items at the office located at 4212 50th Street in Lubbock.

We asked Lindsay if she could extend the deadline for donations until Friday, April 19th so that our listeners would have time to gather and bring items such as diapers (especially sizes 4 and 5), wipes, and blankets. Lindsay writes, "we are going to be taking donations of gently used items that some of you with kiddos at home may be ready to part with for Women's Protective Services of Lubbock."

Donations will be taken to WPS of Lubbock on Friday afternoon. Capital Mortgage Services office is open from 8:15am-5:00pm Mon-Fri. April is Child Abuse Prevention Month and we appreciate the efforts of community super-stars like Lindsay and Capital Mortgage Services. Please take a moment to donate at 4212 50th Street in Lubbock by Friday or visit the Women's Protective Services of Lubbock website to donate online.
