We are still currently in spooky season (I personally think it should be all year round) but sometimes the things that go bump in the night are always there. I recently went to Lubbock's best and largest scare park, Nightmare on 19th Street, for the first time and loved the experience but had a somewhat supernatural experience while I was there.

As I waited to get a look behind the scenes I felt something hit my stomach and saw that a white rock in the shape of a tooth had pelted me and fell to the floor. I thought nothing of it and brushed it off as someone accidently kicking a rock with their shoes and kept waiting. After some time I sat on a bench near the entrance and got on my phone when I felt something hit my back. It was another white rock in the shape of a tooth but this time it came from behind me where there was a little bit of a wall and no one was behind me. I again brushed it off and thought nothing of this event.

It wasn't until later that I got the behind the scenes tour that I was pelted three separate times by white rocks in the shape of teeth while no one was behind me or anywhere to have thrown a rock. I decided to do some digging to see if maybe there had been previous owners or a business that was there a long time ago and maybe the place was actually haunted. I could be just crazy though.

After some light digging I did discover that back in 2013 a man was attending a concert at the Lonestar Amphitheater featuring the Volbeats and actually passed away. The man was said to have had a knife and tried to sneak into the concert with the weapon before running to a dangerous area and jumping from one roof to another. The man missed the other roof and is said to have hit the concrete and was transported to UMC where he did pass away.

I'm not saying it's the spirit of that man, it could be the spirit of a dentist who thinks it's funny to throw teeth, or even just a bird that gets a laugh out of being spooky. I do know that those rocks were all white and looked somewhat like teeth which means I have to go back again before they close for the season. Have you ever had an experience like this one at Nightmare on 19th Street or any other spooky experience that seemed real at the park?
