Nightmare On 19th Street Announces Dark Market Date
Are you ready to shop 'till you drop at the creepiest place in Lubbock, Texas?
The Event
Nightmare On 19th Streets second annual Dark Market will be on September 28th. If you're not familiar with the idea of a "Dark Market", then hold onto your purple fingernails! Basically a dark market is items that fall in more of a goth/Halloween/witchy vibe. Our particular dark market calls for the vendors to be local craftsman.
Our Debut
Last years we had thirteen vendors to kick off a trial run for the dark market. Our goal was not to make money, but to give the vendors a fun place to display and sell their wares. It warmed our cold, black hearts to see all of these people who are so over-the-top about Halloween together in a such a fun place.
The Details
The Nightmare Dark Market takes place on opening night. This means that everything that comes along with Nightmare is accessible. We have food with Nightmare Nom-Noms and our merch vendors out there as well. In addition we have various ghouls roaming Mayhem Midway.
...And More
There is no charge to attend and shop at this event. Vendors may submit application here. This year we are asking for a $10 donation for the Haven Animal Shelter in order to hold the vendors space. We have no intention of limiting the number of vendors at this time. Being at the Lone Star Event center, we have unlimited space. A separate ticket is required to actually experience the attractions.
