Texas continues to feel the heat as the summer drags its feet on the way to fall. Fortunately, we should see some amount of relief in the next week or so as temps cool down into the 90s rather than the 100s.

No one enjoys triple digit days. You wake up warmer than you’d like, you feel like you're roasting every time you get in your car, it takes forever to feel the relief of air conditioning, and no matter how short your shorts are or how thin your tank top is, even being naked won’t prevent you from panting like a dog and feeling like you might drown in your own sweat.

Too graphic? Well, it’s true...

I can’t stand sweating. I would much rather be cold than hot, not just because of sweating, but because the heat causes a short-tempered flame to burst inside of me, making me much less pleasant to be around. So, in order to save everyone the grief, I prefer to stay as cool as possible if I can help it.
