Joyland Amusement Park Announces Reopening Date After July 9th Storm

On Monday, July 20th, the social media account for Joyland Amusement Park in Lubbock announced that it will be ready for normal operations beginning Saturday, July 25th, 2020.
Hours of operation for this reopening weekend will be 2 to 10 p.m. on Saturday, and 2 to 9 p.m. on Sunday.
The reopening comes after weeks being closed due to extensive damage sustained during the July 9th severe weather event.
The amusement park has been working tirelessly to repair and renew the grounds during the last few weeks and is now ready to accept visitors again.
