Just How Sinful Is Lubbock? New Study Ranks Its Vice Levels

So how does Lubbock like it's vices?

Lubbock, on the surface, is a very socially conservative city. Then again, this town loves to drink and pretty much anything sin you want can be found with minimal effort. I hope I'm not revealing too much here, but all you have to do is take a look at the local mugshot galleries to know that every kind of crime/sin is available here. Personally I believe that the socially conservative exterior leads to some real naughtiness below the surface.

We're Good

The latest Wallethub survey took a look at the Most Sinful Cities In America. Lubbock actually performed well, and by performing well, I mean we weren't among the leaders. Lubbock actually ranked #116th out of 183. These numbers don't mean much out of context though, so let's dig a little deeper into what this survey deemed sinful.

The Survey

The study had five overall areas including, "Anger & Hatred", "Jealousy", "Excesses & Vices", "Greed", and "Lust". These categories were made up of sub categories. For instance "Lust" featured adult entertainment locations, search for the same, searches for Tinder, and teen pregnancy rates.  All of these individual metrics were weighted and added up for a ranking in each category.

The Most & Least Sinful

So where do you go if you want more sin? it's no surprise that "Sin City" came in number one in the survey. Las Vegas took the top spot with Houston, and Los Angeles scoring the 2nd and 3rd places. If you're down on sin, then the least sinful city in the survey is Columbia, Maryland.
