Lubbock Business Offers Free Pizza to Those in Need [Update]
Update: Due to the overwhelming response to their offer, Italian Garden Restaurant announced on Saturday that they were unable to continue their original free pizza offer:
Original story: Italian Garden Restaurant in Lubbock, Texas is going out of there way to wish their customers a happy holiday by offering free pizza.
If you or someone you know have had a particularly hard year, Italian Garden Restaurant invites you to come in for up to 2 large 1- topping pizzas for absolutely free until 6pm on December 18th and 19th. Their Facebook post specifically asks for those in need to come in and get a free pie, so please be kind and think of others in our community before you run in to cash out on a free pizza.
Reach out to your friends and family in need and let them know of this opportunity for a free meal. The pizza at Italian Garden Restaurant is extremely delicious, and they are generous in this give-away.
I don't have to tell you, you already know. This year has wreaked havoc on us all. A little free pizza will go a long way to many families, especially those with children, and those who have lost their employment during the COVID-19 pandemic.
Thank you, Italian Garden Restaurant, for thinking of others this season, and giving back to the community that loves you so much. I hope that many other businesses follow suit and give with an open heart. This free pizza is only available for carryout and you can find Italian Garden Restaurant in the green building on 1215 Avenue J suite 102.
I cannot stress enough, if you have the means to buy your own pizza, please let those who could really use a hand take advantage of this deal.
