Lubbock Favorites Adelita’s Way Return To The Hub City

I am really liking the variety we have coming our way in 2024.

Adelita's Way will make their way back to the Hub City on Thursday, March 21st. We are pleased to be working with J & B Productions on another very cool show. The band will be hitting up Jake's Backroom with an act from California by the name of Classless Act. There is also scheduled to be a couple of local openers to be named later.

Adelita's Way had a number of hits but they all pale next to the megahit "Alive". I actually performed a wedding ceremony and this was the track the couple chose to walk down the aisle to. It is a feel-good love song that captures the spirit of new love so well. I also have to give props to the musicians because the guitar hooks are just sublime.

You probably also know the song "Invincible" and a half-dozen others. There is just a special earnestness in frontman Rick Dejesus that makes every track seem so heartfelt and important.

I also want to take a minute and thank J & B Productions for stepping out a little from their usual metal fare to bring us a variety of shows. Make no mistake, J & B still has all the metal that you can handle, but they are broadening their horizons and filling a huge void in Lubbock. Tickets are available at Ralph's Records.
