The Lubbock Animal Shelter (3323 SE loop 289) has recently taken in many animals after teaming up with Lubbock Police in an animal hoarding case. These animals are currently anemic due to blood loss from an infestation of ticks and fleas.
These pups are nearly feral and not suitable for normal adoptions at this time. While these babies will need to go to experienced fosters and rescue groups, anyone can help with a donation of flea and tick medicine. You can swing by the shelter or give them a call at 806-775-2057.
