Lubbock Arts Festival to Go Out of This World in 2020

The 42nd Lubbock Arts Festival is coming up, and they've announced the theme for this year's event.

The theme for this year's event is It's Out of This World. If you're reading between the lines, that's right -- we're going to space!

This year's Lubbock Arts Festival will feature actual space artifacts, artists' interpretations of space, a 1/25-scale model of The Challenger, and actual astronauts.

We think this is an excellent choice for the Lubbock Arts Festival, working with a theme that everyone can get behind. Of course, the Lubbock Arts Festival will have over 200 artists from around the nation, kids make & take stations, folk dancing, and so much more.

The Lubbock Arts Festival happens April 18th and 19th, 2020.
