Lubbock Charity Will ‘Neuter Your Ex’ For A Modest Donation
Kat's Alley Cats, a 501(c)(3) organization here in Lubbock, Texas, would like to neuter your ex for a modest donation of $14, just in time for Valentine's Day.
What a bargain!
Of course, this is more of a neutering-by-proxy in good fun for a great cause. When you donate between now and February 14th, Kat's Alley Cats will name a feral community cat after your ex, and then yeah, totally neuter it. Sounds satisfying.
Additionally, Kat's Alley Cats will post a photo of the cat named after your ex on social media, in case you were worried you weren't getting enough revenge for your $14.
Kat's Alley Cats accepts donations through Venmo, PayPal, and Cash Ap, the links to which are all available by clicking here. After you donate, send them a message on Facebook or email them to let them know your ex's name and that they are ready for a snip-snip.
The truth is that Lubbock has a serious problem with too many feral cats, and kitten season is right around the corner. Trap/Neuter/Release (TNR) programs have proven to be an effective and humane solution to the feral cat overpopulation problem.
I live in a group of condos, and a good samaritan neutered our neighborhood alpha boy. Since then, he has kept all but just two of his besties away from our complex. He is an exceedingly good boy who will now let you pet him, and it's a blessing when he sleeps on your porch. He's a TNR success story, and I'd love to see many more.
