Lubbock Construction Worker Injured After Being Hit By Car

Monday morning, a construction worker was struck by a vehicle at 19th Street and Inler Avenue. The accident happened around 7:45 a.m., according to police.

The worker was sent to a local hospital for treatment of moderate injuries. KAMC News reports that two additional traffic accidents happened in same area moments after the worker was struck.

One of the crashes involved a pickup truck and an SUV, while the other involved three vehicles. Only minor injuries were reported in those two accidents.
