Curby's Express Market, formerly located at 1903 Milwaukee Ave, was known for its variety of foods and drinks, many of which had a "cult" following among fans.

Vanilla sweet tea, breakfast pizza, kolaches, salads, wraps, and more were made fresh in store and offered a quick and delicious alternative to traditional fast food in the area, nd you could even get the items using Curby's drive-thru.

Why Is Curby's Express Market Closing In Lubbock?

Curby's is closing the Lubbock location, "as part of the company's strategic evolution to focus on fuel, beverage, and food-centric locations," per its Facebook post. In other words, they are closing because the Lubbock location did not have fuel pumps.

Which Curby's Express Market Locations Are Still Around?

You will still be able to visit Curby's at 7200 W McCormick Rd. the next time you are in Amarillo, Texas.

In the comments of the Facebook post, Curby's responded to many disappointed fans by saying, "Check us out in the future for more locations," so it is possible Curby's may return to Lubbock or other nearby towns soon.
