Lubbock’s Dairy Queen Welcomes Back The Drumstick Blizzard
Ladies and gentlemen, the eagle has landed!
We received advanced warning of this from Dairy Queen, and we can confirm that it has indeed landed in Lubbock.
A Classic Dairy Queen Blizzard Flavor Returns
Let's just say it's tough battling two lovers. Yes, Blue Bell has my heart, but so does Dairy Queen. Let's just look at this like children — you love both equally. Some days you want a scoop, and other days you want some soft serve.
When it comes to soft serve, no one beats Dairy Queen. I would say that Tastee Freez (in Lubbock inside Wienerschnitzel) or the blasts at Sonic run neck and neck, but Dairy Queen tends to feature a bit more innovation.
They innovated a while back with the Nestlé Drumstick with Peanuts Blizzard. This is a flavor I can taste right now, and I'm not even close to a store.
Well, they've brought this classic flavor back as the June Blizzard of the Month, and I'm about to go H.A.M. on one.
It's going to be tough to come off my favorites, the Heath and Banana Split Blizzards, but this thing may not hang on past June. This means I'm having a Dairy Queen date this weekend.

Where To Find The Drumstick Blizzard In Lubbock
While all Lubbock and area Dairy Queens should have the flavor, I can personally confirm that they are advertising it at the 82nd and Indiana location.
Yes, I want to make sure you get your fix if this is your jam.
Enjoy!
