There are seven new faces in the murder/ manslaughter mugshot line-up for Lubbock County Detention Center.
Bringing our total of folks waiting to find out more about their case—or waiting to be transferred to prison—to 42.
Still, others have moved on since our last update, to prison, lowered charges, or even found not guilty due to insanity, an extremely rare occurrence.
Remember: these people are innocent until proven guilty; however, mugshots are public information.
If you've been following our Murder Mugshot posts, you'll see some familiar faces, like the man who allegedly went on a near-random murder rampage, to the teen girl that's sat in the detention center since 2022.
Among our new faces, you'll meet a woman who got very lucky, receiving only 10 years probation for striking and killing a person while drunk. Of course, she's back in jail for allegedly violating her parole.
There's also a man who allegedly opened gunfire on a club full of people, killing one. His charges include murder AND mass shooting.
Perhaps the most chilling is a pair of brothers who allegedly shot and killed their family member in a Lubbock city park- and also shot and killed his girlfriend and his dog, too. In addition to murder charges, they also face animal cruelty charges.
Life is full of crucial decisions- some we make in the blink of an eye. These moments can affect the outcome of the rest of our lives, so choose wisely. Or you may find yourself sitting in the Lubbock County Detention Center- until you are shipped off to prison.
