Lubbock Laugh Off Scheduled for Friday, May 11

The Lubbock Laugh Off returns to World of Beer this Friday night.

We're looking forward to another hilarious competition this Friday night at World of Beer (2910 W Loop 289). Not only do we have six comedians competing, but last month's winner, Austin Meador, will perform a headline set.

The Lubbock Laugh Off is THE premier comedy event in Lubbock. In this particular show, we'll have four former winners competing, and you never know when a newbie is going to sneak up and steal the show.

The bill for this week is: Kendall Smith-Rodriguez, Chris Hobart, Caleb Davis, Chandler Craig, Aaron Durbin and one more comedian who will be named later after another qualifying comedy event.

The show starts at 9 p.m. sharp, and we like to say we're giving you two hours of entertainment in about 45 minutes. You must arrive early to get a table. We've had 16 standing room only shows in a row.

The Laugh Off is hosted by The RockShow's Wes Nessman (that's me!) and is presented by Laugh Hub City.
