Lubbock Lions Club Pancake Breakfast Set For February 18th

I am ready for this.

Just one note to all of those amateur reporters out there. I don't care how many pounds of flour they use, or how many sausage links they give out. I only care that all of it, 'GETS IN MY BELLY".

One of the absolute iconic events that makes Lubbock, Lubbock, has set its date for 2023. The Lubbock Lions Club Pancake Breakfast will happen all day on February 18th. Serving will be from six in the morning until eight at night. That's fourteen solid hours of good, old fashion, wholesome food and fellowship for everybody.

On the menu are pancakes, sausage, orange drink, milk, and coffee. You can also upgrade to some bacon, or enjoy some popcorn, sodas, cotton candy, or other treats.

The event also features a ton of free entertainment and local celebrities.  I am personally one of those proud people to man the "celebrity grill" having done so for somewhere between 15-20 years (or more, I'm not really sure). All that is certain is, that if I'm invited I cook on grill #1 on the early, early shift (I'm happy to get up while everyone else gets in gear).

I know a lot of events say "save the date" or "mark your calendar" so much that you hear it and don't actually do it. In this case, you actually want to get up and write this one down. Once again, it's Saturday, February 18th.
