It's not every day that you come across a relic like this. I noticed a photo on my Facebook feed this morning and couldn't pass up the opportunity to show it to everyone else in town. It's pretty incredible, folks. Buckle up...

Jacob Hernandez, of Lubbock, TX,  was cleaning out some old storage on his in-law's property to make a little extra cash on Wednesday morning when he found an absolute blast from the past.

He knows what he has, and won't be giving it up without a fight...

He took to Facebook to share the monumental find with others, exclaiming,

"I'm rich. I found a fossil!"

Check it out below...

When was the last time you saw a Cold Front cup from Town & Country? Haha! Wowza...

That thing must be worth a grip...

Town & Country Food Stores was purchased back in 2007 by the Susser Holdings Corporation and has since become Stripes Convenience Store. There were 168 stores at the time of purchase, spread around Texas and New Mexico. According to Wikipedia, they had a yearly revenue of over $850 million in 2006. The original Town & Country store was located in Austin, before spreading to San Angelo, Del Rio, and beyond.

I miss Town & Country. I remember when they switched over and it was kind of weird, like losing a friend or something. Am I getting teary-eyed over a gas station?

Maybe...

It's been a long week. It's only Wednesday. I think I need a hug. *Sigh*
