Lubbock Man Indicted for 2nd Time on Charges of Stalking
Lubbock might be self-named the friendliest city in America, but it has its share of stalkers, apparently. 45-year-old Bobby Fulbright is currently jailed in the Lubbock County Detention Center on a charge of stalking, and it isn't the first time.
In late 2020, according to one report, a Lubbock woman reported suspicious behavior to the Lubbock Police Department. She filed a report that she noticed the same car driving by her house over and over again, sometimes even through her alley.
The woman also told police she noticed a man watching her house on multiple occasions and believed he had learned the work schedule of her husband, since the man only showed up when he wasn't home.
The behavior scared the woman enough that she even confronted the man on one occasion and told him to leave her family alone. But when the behavior continued, she called police again and the man was finally arrested on April 13, 2021, and identified as 45-year-old Bobby Fulbright.
The reason for Fulbright's behavior remains a mystery, but this isn't the first time he's done this. In 2019, according to police, Fulbright was also convicted of stalking, but the details of that conviction remain unclear.
According to everydayhealth.com, one woman in 12 will be stalked at some time during their life, and one of the primary signs of stalking is noticing a pattern of behavior from a unknown person or vehicle in your neighborhood or where you work.
If you feel like you're being stalked, don't hesitate to call local authorities or even family members before the situation escalates.
