Lubbock Man Said To Have Fired Shots at Other Man’s Car
A Lubbock man was arrested on Thursday, April 8th after reports say he shot at another person's car back in February.
KAMC News reports that back on Wednesday, February 3rd, Lubbock Police responded to a shots fired call in the 900 block of East Rice Street. Reports say that the suspect, 20-year-old Tyson Ladon Isaac, had been following another person and was shooting at them. Why Isaac had targeted this person wasn't immediately clear.
The victim, who wasn't identified, said that they heard bullets hitting his carport. Afterwards, they decided to follow Isaac and the other person that was in the car with Isaac.
A brief chase ensued between the victim and Isaac, and at some point, police say that Isaac and the other unidentified suspect opened fire on the victim. It wasn't specified if whether or not the victim's car or the victim was struck by any gunfire.
A Texas Department of Public Safety helicopter managed to follow Isaac and the other person to a house in the 2000 block of 15th Street. At that time, it's said that the victims were arrested on unrelated charges.
However, this past Thursday, April 8th, Isaac was arrested for failure to display a driver's license, aggravated assault with a deadly weapon and possession of a controlled substance.
