Lubbock Police Searching for Vehicle Theft Suspect
The Lubbock Police Department has recovered a stolen vehicle after it had been taken from the warehouse of a local business. Now, local authorities are searching for the suspect.
The 2020 Ford Expedition was first reported stolen Monday, August 24, by Kathy Riley, the Vice President of Professional Maintenance, Inc., a company that provides commercial cleaning services. Riley told police that although she normally locks the vehicle, she left her keys in it this time.
On Tuesday, August 25, KAMC News reports the Lubbock Police Department was able to track down the stolen vehicle off of Avenue P. Police say they found it with all but one of the tires striped from the vehicle. Other items were also missing from inside the vehicle.
The suspect was captured on a security cameras at the warehouse and video shows him stealing the Ford Expedition. He’s described as a skinny Hispanic male with a tattoo on his forehead, wearing a long white shirt at the time of the theft.
