Lubbock Police Still Searching For Drive-By Shooting Suspects
Officers with the Lubbock Police Department are asking for the public's help in identifying and locating suspects that were involved in an aggravated assault that happened on Tuesday, November 17th.
KFYO News previously reported on the incident, which happened in the 4500 block of 11th Street.
At around 1 a.m., the victim's wife woke to the sound of loud music coming from outside their window and saw a flashlight moving around inside of her vehicle. She woke the victim, who grabbed his two firearms and went outside.
The victim confronted the suspects and fired a warning shot into the air, causing the suspects to run from the property.
It's then reported that a vehicle drove past the victim's house and opened fire. The vehicle picked up the two men that were running from the house and then fled eastbound.
The victim suffered non-life-threatening injuries from the gunfire.
The vehicle, a dark colored sedan, may have bullet holes in it from the victim returning fire in self-defense. It may also have a blown out tire.
