Big Change: Lubbock’s Spirit Halloween Stores Are on the Move!

This might sound a little spooky—none of the Spirit Halloween stores in Lubbock are returning to their old haunts this year.

Nothing says “Halloween season” quite like seeing a Spirit store pop up in town. Honestly, I love just walking in to soak up the ambiance—there’s something about the mix of fall vibes and that unmistakable latex mask smell that hits just right. This year there will be just enough of a change in Lubbock to keep things fresh!

Lubbock’s Spirit Stores Are Changing Things Up

For the past three years, the locations stayed the same:

• South Plains Mall (near Spur 327),

• 50th & Slide (next to the 50th Street Caboose),

• Caprock Shopping Center (by Dollar Tree).

This year? Totally different lineup. Let’s take a look at the new Spirit Halloween spots:

1. 2502 50th Street – Right next to Office Depot, in what used to be a tile store.

2. Former Big Lots on 4th Street – This is the one I’m personally most hyped about!

3. South Plains Mall (Revised) – Still at the mall, but now in the old men’s Dillard’s, facing Slide Road next to Barnes & Noble.

   ️ One More Spot… Maybe

4. Former Best Buy by Movies 16 – This location is possibly happening. Renovations are underway, and it’s still up in the air.

Looking for a Halloween side hustle? The 50th Street location has a QR code on the door for job applications. Others might as well—I just didn’t spot them.
