Lubbock Water Tap Construction Will Result in Road Closure on 14th Street Between Avenue X and W

Beginning on Tuesday (Feb. 27), the City of Lubbock will begin construction on a water tap along 14th street between Avenue X and Avenue W.

14th street will be closed to through traffic between Avenue X and W. Residents east of 2311 14th Street will be able to enter and exit homes using Avenue W. Residents west of 2311 14th Street will be able to enter and exit homes using Avenue X

Drivers are encouraged to find alternate routes during construction.

Work is expected to last one week.
