Lubbock’s Tallest Building Will Be Open To New Residents Very Soon
Lubbock's tallest building, the Metro Tower, has been undergoing construction and renovations for several years now to turn it into an affordable and luxurious apartment building. Prospective residents are on the edge of their seats, waiting for an announcement that the building is finally ready for move-in. It looks like that day is now quickly approaching.
I reserved an apartment there approximately 6 months ago, and I have been dying to move in. Not only does it have an incredible view, but it also offers a ton of really cool perks that you won't find in any other apartments in Lubbock, like dry-cleaning drop-off, a convenience store, porter service, a fitness area, and then some. It's truly going to be special to reside in the tallest building in Lubbock, and I can't wait.
I received a phone call today from the office at The Metro Tower, letting me know that they have passed inspection and that guests will be invited to move in, likely sometime in the next 2 weeks. I'm SO EXCITED!
Check out the gallery below to see just how spiffy it looks, and that view!
Metro Tower Looks Awesome
I think it has been well worth the wait, and I am really looking forward to looking down over the city from my view on the 17th floor. It's going to make Lubbock feel like a much bigger place than it actually is, PLUS, I get to pretend to be some kind of big shot that lives in a swanky high-rise, something I've always dreamed of.
Have you been waiting for them to open? Maybe we will be neighbors! I'll catch you in the elevator.
