Meet the Masters: Texas Fishermen Reveal Their Trophy Fish!
There is no mistaking the joy on a fisherman's face when they are holding a fresh catch.
It Started As A Misunderstanding
I have to start off and say that this whole gallery is the result of one missing word. I've compiled several galleries of people's pets (I'll put at least one below). Knowing that aquariums are very popular I thought I'd get some nice pictures of some nicely decorated fish tanks. I guess I forgot I was in Texas, because saying, "Show Us Your Fish" ended up being almost entirely pictures of people holding up fish they caught.
The Masters
Next up, are these people "Masters"? Who really cares? I personally find it far more interesting that these regular folks reeled in these beauties and (again) are so very proud of them. I've dropped a line in a place or two myself, and there is something thrilling about first getting a hit on your line, then reeling one in to see what you got. All of this is to say, that on that day, these guys felt like Masters and that's good enough for me.
Fishing In Texas
I'd also say this almost serves as an ad for fishing in Texas (I'm assuming most of these catches were made here). Despite most people outside of the state thinking we're just a big dry desert, we have tons of lakes, real and manmade, and both natural and stocked. Yes, there is TONS of fishing and fishing spots in the Lone Star State. So without further ado, check out these fish, and in some cases, the people who caught them.
