
Lubbock’s Jones AT&T Stadium to Shine Green for Mental Health Awareness
Jones AT&T Stadium is certainly a centerpiece in the city of Lubbock. It's visible from many areas of Lubbock and tonight the stadium will shine green for a cause.
It wasn't that long ago that the lights at Jones AT&T Stadium were upgraded. If you've been anywhere near or actually in the stadium on a game day, you'd know that they can pretty much make the lights do anything they want them to do.

The beauty of L.E.D. and smart lighting is off/on, and an array of colors are no problem With the Red Raiders state-of-the-art system, the sky is the limit. Tonight, it's a simple change, but one that will be instantly noticeable across a large portion of Lubbock.
If you are in the vicinity of Texas Tech's home field tonight you'll notice that the entire stadium will glow green. This isn't a scene from the X-files, it's to draw attention to a cause.
Texas Tech Athletics Partners to Light Jones Stadium Green for Mental Health
Jones AT&T Stadium will glow green tonight in honor of Mental Health Month. The HSI Initiatives Division of Campus Access & Engagement partnered with Texas Tech Athletics in promoting mental health awareness.
The stadium is one of only a little over 150 building across Texas to participate in the initiative. We're proud to say our friend and RockShow Roadcrew member Nick Harpster was a major factor in making this happen.
It's great that everyone could get together and make this happen prior to Texas Tech's graduation this weekend. Mental health can be frequently overlooked and this big green reminder is a very good thing. I've included Dr. Harpster's entire post below which explains this movement in more depth.
