Every Song Metallica Ever Played In Lubbock
This is certainly a fun exercise.
The best I can tell, Metallica played Lubbock four times. At least that's how many times it was reported to Setlist.fm. Just for curiosity and giggles, I compiled the songs from all of those shows to let you know what songs they played most.
First let's get some housekeeping out of the way. Of course they started each show with "The Ecstasy of Gold". They don't play that, it's a recording, that sometimes they play over a teensy bit while warming up.
The next two items are very cool. Lubbock is still the only place the band ever played Sweet Amber. It was a concert one and done. Next, Lubbock was the first of only three performances of Sad But True featuring guest vocals by Sully Erna of Godsmack. The other two performance were during back to back nights in Boston.
