My Skateboard Appeared in the Greatest Sexplotation Film of All Time
Had I been a year older, I would have been in this film, too.
The movie The Cheerleaders is 70s T&A at its finest. One of the male actors in the film lived on my street. He drafted many of my older friends for a big fight scene in the movie. There's also a scene where a kid rides a skateboard past a fast food window and steals the food.
At the time, I had a top-of-the-line, state-of-the-art Bahne skateboard. They are credited with the big skateboarding comeback in the early 70s, with the addition of urethane wheels and more. So, my orange Bahne Skateboard, ridden by my neighbor Ray, was in the movie.
Oh, and in case you're wondering, that older guy who co-stared in the film that I knew is credited as "Richard Meatwhistle."

I also played J.V. football on the field where Grease was filmed, but that's about it for my teenage stardom years.
