Lubbock’s Newest Taco Villa Opens With A Sweet Surprise

I have been eating Taco Villa about once a week almost my entire life. I never get tired of the fresh flavor of "home," and the price is right, too.

When my then-best friend returned to visit Lubbock from Denver, the first thing he wanted to do was grab Taco Villa, and I was so happy to share that meal with him.

He decided to move back permanently- either to be my husband or for the regular Taco Villa supply- the jury is still out on that one.

Taco Villa Expands In Lubbock With New Location

There's a new Taco Villa in town, located at 3428 Milwaukee to serve that ever-expanding West Lubbock community.

The building is beautiful, with tons of natural light.

The employees and management working the preview night I attended were incredibly attentive and sweet. The layout is similar to other Taco Villas with a self-serve soda station, fresh tea (and lemonade!)

Of course, there's also the iconic salsa bar full of fresh toppings:

Like some other Taco Villas, this location will also serve beer and margaritas.

What Makes The New Taco Villa In Lubbock Different?

The new Taco Villa comes with a sweet surprise- milkshakes! For now, this will be the only Taco Villa location with milkshakes- cookies n' cream, chocolate, vanilla, and strawberry.

I got to try one and they are thick, creamy, and delicious!

I am thrilled about this new location - it is conveniently close to the West End shopping center, Costco, and all those West Lubbock neighborhoods.
