The Halloween season is on, and we’re going to make sure your decorations are top notch.

Consumer Halloween stuff is fun, but it’s usually missing a little something. First, it’s generally a toned-down version of the real thing. Second, it’s something anybody with a few bucks can buy.

What makes those props really interesting is putting them in the hands of someone with some skills.

Believe it or not, Nightmare on 19th Street in Lubbock has three actual experts who specialize in turning ordinary plastic skeletons into corpsed nightmares.

Nightmare On 19th Street Knows The Skeleton Business

We spread more than 40 new skeletons across the park this year alone, so trust us when we say: We know skeletons.

Corpsing is a pretty interesting process, and a lot of people take the cheap way out with the old plastic-bag treatment that barely lasts a season. We use liquid latex and other materials to give our skeletons an extra ooky look and a much more durable finish.

And that’s where the fun comes in.

Instead of just giving you another pair of tickets to Nightmare on 19th Street, we’re throwing in a professionally corpsed skeleton for your Halloween display.

That’s right. You’ll arrive with two people, but you’ll have three riders on the way home.

So what are you going to call your new passenger? We have a few suggestions:

  • Boney Stark
  • Indiana Bones
  • Napoleon Bone-apart
  • Jon Bone Jovi
  • Bone Thugs-N-Harmony
  • Skelly Clarkson
  • Rib Van Winkle
  • Dead Sheeran

No?

Fine. You can name it yourself.
