Old Enough To Fight Is Old Enough To Smoke
Smoking and drinking ages are always held up against the age of military service.
So you've probably had a meme or two on your social media saying, "Old enough to fight is old enough to smoke"; with the thought being that those of military age should be treated like adults. I'll admit that when I started to blog this up, I did not know that there IS an exception for members of the military.
I am not advocating for smoking. I was a heavy smoker for decades before I finally quit. I just finally saw it as a waste of time and money. What I AM advocating for is fairness, and without a doubt someone in our military deserves to be treated like an adult.
I think the 21 smoking age might be confusing for some retailers, but please keep in mind, someone with a military i.d. IS allowed to purchase and smoke if they so wish.
