Patrick Mahomes Gets Ringing Endorsement From Tom Brady After AFC Championship Game
The New England Patriots are going back to the Super Bowl for the third straight season after their Overtime win over the Kansas City Chiefs 37-31 Sunday night.
Patrick Mahomes finished with 295 passing yards and three touchdowns in his first-ever AFC Championship game. While he came up just short, it was still a great showing from the former Red Raider. Mahomes did admit on Twitter that the loss still hurt:
Mahomes even caught the attention and respect last night of his counterpart, Tom Brady. After the Patriots' win, Brady walked to the opponent's locker room looking for Mahomes, where they reportedly spoke for a few moments.
When the greatest quarterback of all time looks for you after one of the biggest wins of his career, you did something right.
I have a feeling that this won't be the last time we see these two quarterbacks battle for a shot at the Super Bowl. However, for now, Super Bowl LIII will be a matchup between the New England Patriots and the Los Angeles Rams on Sunday, February 3rd,2019 from Atlanta, Georgia.
