Hugh Hefner has passed away at the age of 91.

Hefner passed away at the place he loved the most, the Playboy Mansion.

Hefner founded Playboy in 1953. Hefner's first magazine featured nudes of Marilyn Monroe that were taken four years earlier.

Hefner was an activist, notably standing up for women's rights in particular and civil rights in general. He was a philanthropist and pretty all-around cool dude.
