Prepare For Delays On I-27 With Tx Dot Safety Updates

Tx Dot will be making some major improvements on I-27 so watch for workers on the highway.

Concrete and cable medians will be installed all along the 27 miles of I-27 from about 82nd street into Plainview. In addition, some lights will be upgraded and there will be some concrete and drainage work as well.  You should expect mainly inside lane closers, but be prepared to reduce your speed.

Get used to seeing those orange barrels and workers on the highway because this project is set to last until October....of 2021.  Drive with caution and give those workers a break; it should be an awesome project when completed. Work begins this month.
