I guess it's okay to name your pet something wacky.

Is It Disrespectful?

I'm not sure most pets understand the name you've given them. It's more likely that they're responding to a "series of sounds" that your making (but then again, isn't that what we're all doing). I guess what I'm trying to say is that they don't really have any context for the name you've given them, so they probably don't take a wacky name too personally.

The Answers

We have a great selection of pet names for you. Some of them are really over the top. Many are actually based on the animals attributes, which makes me wonder how long the owner had them before they gave them a name, or did they experience a name change somewhere along the line?  There's also the possibility that the owner always wanted to name a pet a certain thing, so it just kind of happened.

It's All Love

Don't let the wacky names confuse you, these people love thier pets and there are more than a few that are telling us about pets that have crossed the rainbow bridge. You can just tell there is lingering love in some of these names. I wish I had the ability to include some of the pictures that were included as well, but it's not in the cards when we have this many responses to go through.

The names were gathered across about six different social media sites, if you'd like to be one of the early-adopters and answer questions like this (and have your answers included both online and on the air) we'd love for you to join here. *Caution-it can get a little raw at times*.
