The Rules for Tonight's Corey Taylor Concert in Lubbock

If you thought the rules would be relaxed for this concert, you were wrong.

We received the following information from J&B Productions. Most of the relevant information in this release was posted at the point of purchase for tickets (with the exception of one minor correction for capitalization, this is the exact release from the promoter).

Corey Taylor's Head of Security has to approve the following, so it may have a few tweaks. I would echo J&B's thoughts one more time: these rules are what the artist and tour wanted in order to make this show happen. So here you go:

As you are aware the show is Covid friendly at the direction of the tour of the artist. This means it will be very different from most shows you’ve attended in the past.

For this show you’ll enter at the front gates and Be wanded with a a metal detector. At that point you’ll present your ticket and be issued a NUMBERED wristband corresponding to a NUMBERED pod where you will view the show. From there you’ll be sent to a temperature checkpoint to measure your body temperature once that’s complete you’ll be able to go to your pod ....once you’re in your pod your mask can be removed and you’re free to hang out without a mask covering.
If you choose to go to the restroom, go to the bar to get a drink, grab food, merchandise, etc, mask must be worn.
If you plan to disobey the rules or feel rebellious, do everyone a favor and sell your ticket because we are pretty sure it won't be hard to sell, we do not say that to be rude, we just want everyone to have a good time..
WE CANNOT STRESS THIS ENOUGH, ARRIVE WITH YOUR FRIENDS THAT YOU WANT TO BE WITH, ONCE YOU ARE IN, THERE IS NO MOVING OR SWAPPING. IF YOU'RE THINKING "I DON'T WANT TO BE STUCK WITH PEOPLE I DON'T KNOW" THEN LOOK AT IT THIS WAY, INSTEAD OF 1400 STRANGERS CRAMMED TOGETHER, THERE WILL BE A MUCH SMALLER NUMBER, AND IF YOU DO HAVE ISSUES, LET A STAFF MEMBER KNOW AND WE WILL DO OUR ABSOLUTE BEST TO ACCOMMODATE YOU. YOU MIGHT EVEN MAKE A FRIENDS WITH A FELLOW ROCKER.

Once inside, you will be taken with a group of X amount of people, the current plan is 12 people to the best available pod (just a heads up, there are NO seats).

You MUST wear a mask when you are outside of said pod at all times.

The ultimate goal is for everyone to have a good time, that's the end game.

While we understand these rules are not for everyone, we want to comply with the artist and their team. We did our absolute best to ensure everyone has a great and safe time..
