Camp Bark and Brew

On March 23rd, from 9am until 3pm at 19th and Buddy Holly Avenue in Downtown Lubbock, dogs of all shapes and sizes are invited to participate in a dog parade complete with prizes for the cutest dog, mottliest dog, and cutest costume.  Other events include:

  • Wiener dog races
  • Small dog races
  • Kids' play area
  • Mobile pet wash
  • Dog photo contest
  • Training demos
  • Motorcycle poker

The public is invited to come out to enjoy food trucks with coffee brewing, Triple J Restaurant, the Garden and Cactus Theater with regular brews in the afternoon, pet adoptions, bouncy houses and "stupid pet tricks".  Lubbock Police Department will be bringing the K9 patrol and homeless outreach dog.

This event promises to be one for all ages and after enjoying a nice warm cup of java in the morning adults can enjoy another "brew" offered by vendors in the Depot District while enjoying various activities during the day.

All dogs must be on a leash at all times and if participating in any of the races current shot records will be required.  Registration forms, sponsorship opportunities and further details can be found on the district website or by searching "bark and brew 2T2" on Facebook and Instagram.
