In New Mexico, one person was killed in a deadly car accident on Friday, January 24th.

The Texas Department of Public Safety said the accident occurred just east of Hobbs, New Mexico.

A teenager from Seminole, now identified as 19-year-old Gerardo J. Soria, was driving east on U.S. 62 when investigators say he lost control and rolled his vehicle several times.

The vehicle was found just five miles east of Hobbs. Soria was taken to Lea Regional Medical Center and pronounced dead.
