We May Have Discovered The New Spirit Halloween Store

For the last few years, Lubbock has enjoyed three locations of the Spirit Halloween Stores. We may still have three, but not where you think.

Where Is Spirit Halloween Going in 2025?

I was driving past the South Plains Mall parking lot the other day and hopefully looked at the storefront that has previously hosted the Spirit Halloween Store. Instead of spotting a “Coming Soon” Spirit sign, I saw some graphics that looked a little too expensive to be temporary. I shrugged it off and moved on.

There also appears to be a minor problem with the location on 50th by the Dollar Tree. The new sporting goods store there seems to take up some of the space formerly used by Spirit.

New Rumors About Spirit Halloween’s Next Location In Lubbock

Then this past Saturday, I encountered a friend who is working on a building. He said he was told the building he’s working on will be the new location of the Spirit Halloween store. Let's hope this wasn't just a joke!

So, are you ready? Because if this turns out to be true, it's big. I was told the new Spirit Halloween store in Lubbock will be in the old Best Buy location off of Spur 327. It was most recently some type of furniture clearance store.

If this information turns out to be true, that’s a lot of space for Spirit to use! I do have my fingers crossed.

What About the Old Locations?

So what about the other locations? Again, I’m told at least the 50th and Slide location should return, but it’s too soon to tell. The Spirit Store locator doesn’t go live until mod-August, and I have not seen any “Coming Soon” graphics posted yet.
