Pearl Jam frontman Eddie Vedder has been forced to postpone his 15-city solo tour of the U.S., which was slated to kick off on April 10, to the fall. Vedder is suffering from temporary nerve damage in his right arm, which is the result of a back injury he sustained earlier this year.

Soundgarden unleashed ‘Live to Rise‘ — their first 100 percent new recording in 15 years — yesterday (April 4) and if it wasn’t what you expected, don’t worry. Singer Chris Cornell says that the song is not necessarily for the band’s hardcore contingent, but their forthcoming album on the other hand will be for the fans who live and breathe Soundgarden.

Stone Temple Pilots guitarist Dean DeLeo recently paid a surprise visit to a New Jersey radio station, revealing that contrary to popular belief, the band is not currently working on the follow-up to STP’s 2010 self-titled comeback album.

This is one of my favorite concert films ever. It's not the best quality, but when I first got to see it, it was a bootleg as well. Former Hole guitarist Eric Erlandson has signed a deal to publish a book about the late and legendary Nirvana frontman Kurt Cobain. Having been friends with Cobain and band mates with his wife Courtney Love, Erlandson has composed 52 letters and compiled them together in ‘Letters to Kurt.’

AS we reported yesterday, King’s X drummer Jerry Gaskill suffered a heart attack on Saturday night. The band has just updated their fans on the condition of Gaskill, stating that there are some positive signs concerning his recovery.
