A Lubbock restaurant paid tribute to the 13 American soldiers who were killed in Afghanistan last week.

This is a great way for our active duty military and their families to see some great art, for free!

Apparently, the Army is having trouble meeting its enlistment numbers so, signing up just got easier.

Thank you to Fireman Christopher Callander for his service, for representing America and for representing the good old Hub City.

Texas Tech was scored in six categories, including: military culture, financial assistance, flexibility, general support, online support and on-campus support.

The Globetrotters, known worldwide as the Ambassadors of Goodwill™, will honor a Harlem Globetrotters Hometown Hero at each of their 310-plus games in North America. The team is searching for active, wounded or retired members of the military who have made their community proud with their brave service and exemplary character.

My brother lead vocalist of III Nino, Cristian Machado took some time and called into The Wrecking Yard to talk about our troops and how they can see III Nino for free and about how much their fans mean to them.

I'm warning you right now, this video will touch your heart.  Some of you will cry.  I didn't cry, I just got something in both eyes.  I recommend you watch this and make everyone you know watch it. It honors and makes you proud of our soldiers (I know you already are, but this takes it to another level).  More after the jump.
