Is it time for a seriously restrictive smoking ordinance in Lubbock?

Texas Governor Greg Abbott recently signed a bill into law raising the minimum age to 21 to purchase tobacco products within the State Of Texas.

Wow, sometime the best way to teach people something is to just hold a mirror up to them.  The concept is simple, two little kids go around asking smokers for a light.  I'll let the video tell the rest of the story.  More after the jump.

It's no secret some of the best commercials make their debut during the "big game." It is also no secret that those commercials are meant to be funny.

The brilliant ladies of MTV's 'Teen Mom' may have met their match in Charlie Wilcox. Wilcox, a British mother who smoked 3,500 cigarettes while pregnant, claims all that nicotine was actually healthy for her newborn daughter because it made the girl's heart work harder since it restricted her oxygen supply while in utero.

Texas could become smoke free, but that's not the thing that gets me steamed. Read more after the break.
