If you're feeling nostalgic for popular 90s video games and you think you have what it takes, you might like to enter a Nintendo 64 Super Smash Bros. tournament at the end of July right in here Lubbock.

Found Gaming, located at 2155 50th Street, will be hosting the big event and there's still time to register to compete. Adult entry fees are $10 per competitor, while kids 12 and under can register for free.

One-hundred percent of the money collected from entry fees will go to the winners, which means, the more people that register to battle it out, the bigger the prize. You could actually go home with some serious cash just for being a badass at Super Smash Bros.

I don't know about you guys, but I used to go crazy for this game. I'd probably suck pretty bad at it these days, but I'd be lying if I said I wasn't considering signing up to compete. It just sounds like too much fun. According to their website, Found Gaming will even let you drop by their store to get some practice time in before the big event.

This should be a great way to bring the gaming community together for some fun and friendly competition. The website also wants to remind everyone that anyone under 15 years old must be accompanied by an adult to the tournament. If you were looking for something to bond over with your kids, this might be the perfect day for that.

Everything kicks off at 1 p.m. on Sunday, July 31st, 2022. Click here to register for the event. Good luck -- you got this!
