Texans Stir Up Holiday Havoc with Unpopular Christmas Opinions

We've got it all for you here! Some of this is a little explicit, so stop now if you're easily offended.

We asked our friends on social media about thier "Unpopular Christmas Opinions" and we we got back was RAW! By "raw", I mean every possibly category of answers. We have those who hate the holidays, those who have different ideas about the holidays should be and those who like to keep them going year round. We didn't just keep the funny ones either; we have some that are sad, heartfelt, and yes, even some that are a bit naughty (YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!).

The Beginning

All of this started with my person "unpopular Christmas opinion" which is, that if you want to keep your Christmas lights on, then do it! A lot of people assume that since I'm such a Halloween freak that I'd have some kind of problem with Christmas, but as long as you don't get Christmas in my Halloween I'm okay (Of course I have no problem getting my Halloween in your Christmas).  I have a neighbor that turns thier Christmas lights on every single night and it just makes me smile.

The Big Problem

It seems that the biggest problem people have is the "over commercialized consumerism" of Christmas. Even those people who aren't religious seem to be a little bit tired of the "Buy, buy, buy" nature of the holiday. I understand this completely; I love the spirit of Christmas, but I hate shopping on all levels. I don't have a problem spending money, I don't like SHOPPING. I then personally ruin the spirt of the season by saying, "Just tell me what you want".
